Metro'ing into the city, where Bennett smiled at everyone. I'm so glad he's so outgoing!
After an interminably long line to go up to the towers of the Notre Dame, it was finally our turn. It was so windy and so chilly as we stood in line. Jackie and I tried to sit at one of the sidewalk cafes to feed Bennett, but of course, we had to buy tea in order to sit there. Sheesh, Paris.
I wasn't kidding when I said it was cold and windy. Notice the ominous sky in the background. It spat rain for a bit today and it was just cold.
We decided to tour the Saint-Chappelle, and I'm SO glad that we did! I've never been here before and the stained glass windows in the chapel were breathtaking! It was phenomenal! At one point, while we were sitting and admiring the beauty of it all, the sunlight broke through the clouds and came pouring into the windows. The crowd that was inside actually "ooh" and "ahh"ed. Cool stuff.
We ran over to the Pere Lachaise cemetery. I nursed Bennett in a quasi-secluded spot near the crematoriums (nice, huh?!) and the rest of the gang ran around like banshees to find all the famous people who are buried there, in record time.
And then, finally, we made it to the Eiffel Tower. I think it was here, when we first walked near it, that Kc fully realized that he was IN Paris. :) I remember my first time seeing the Eiffel Tower and it was fun for me to see him have that same giddy/schoolgirl reaction!

That view of Paris from the top of Notre Dame is breathtaking! Love, love, love the kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower. You guys are too cute.
Also, did you know all these trip posts are going up in June? I see them in my Google Reader, but I went straight to your blog to look at one of the posts again and was confused when I didn't see it at the top.
Yes, I'm doing it on purpose. Even though I'm blogging about the trip now, 3 months later!, I wanted them to all be together for my own benefit and records. :)
