One of the major perks of living in England, is the ability to travel to other countries with relative ease. We decided to take advantage of that while being there and spent a long weekend in Paris.
[sigh]
Paris. I love Paris. This was my 3rd trip to Paris, and even though it's MUCH different traveling with an infant to a non-friendly-baby-city, it was still Paris.
Kc had never been before and since I love it so much, I really wanted him to enjoy his time and to learn to love the city like I do. I have such good memories of my other two times here and wanted him to experience those same emotions. When it was all said and done, I
think he was glad he got to see Paris. :)
This was Kc's first view of the city, coming out of the metro. All the hotels, in our price range and located in the city, were full so we ended up staying in an apartment right near the airport.

We flew in late on a Thursday night and flew out early Monday morning, so it made the most sense to stay near the airport. It took us about an hour each way to travel by bus and taxi to get from our hotel to the city. That was a bummer to me, but hey, it was still Paris. :)
Getting ready to go see Musee d'Orsay with our wonderful hosts! They had never been to the Orsay so they were both excited to see it as well. My husband ... well, he was elated.

No cameras inside the d'Orsay. Kc and I took turns carrying B in the baby carrier. We eventually turned him facing out and Kace wrote down all the paintings that Bennett coo'ed for. So cute! He was such a hit where ever we went!

Ahh. The Notre Dame Cathedral. It's still impressive to me. Magnificent. Majestic. Amazing.

This is quite typical -- Megan attempting to find a place to nurse the baby in FRIGID temperatures and no place (usually) indoors that would allow me to be with him without spending a fortune to just sit out of the wind and cold.

Beautiful blue skies, but Paris was having a freak cold snap while we were there and none of us were really prepared for how chilly it was.

Paris and the flower markets. I love it.

Getting all Asian for the Louvre. :)

While Kc and his dad enjoyed walking around the Louvre, taking in all the incredible art that is in this place ...

... his mom and I did this ... found a quiet, secluded table where I fed Bennett and let him stretch and kick his little legs for an hour or so. We were both beat from walking so much and neither one of us minded so much to sit out on seeing the Louvre.

Ready to find some much needed food (this nursing momma gets hungry!) and start our long journey back to our hotel.
