So, Kc gets an unexpected fall break. And if it wasn't for the circumstances that brought it on, I'd be insanely jealous.
Insanely. Oh, how I can't wait to stay home!!! :)
But, his school has canceled all classes, all extra-curricular activities -- everything from today through Friday in hopes to curb the outbreak of the flu that has hit their school.
Kc said the upper school got hit the hardest, with over 25% of their student body out with the flu. Overall, he said he thought 14% of the entire TCA family was sick.
And so the administration has canceled school.
Thankfully, none of Kc's students are sick, which is a huge blessing for him. We'll continue praying that that fact stays the same.
Meanwhile, Kc is home and going to be enjoying a bit of a respite in the midst of a full semester.

Ugh. Well, at least KC isn't home sick :-O. Thanks for the info below on Mr. Klicka. I'll be praying for them. He has really done some great things.
Oh my. I hope you two get your H1N1 flu shot soon. We are praying for the 3 of you. By the way, that baby shot you have posted - that is absolutely the most adorable baby picture ever! I can't wait to hear whether we are buying pink or blue blankets - although I bought something for the baby already in a special color. :)
