Going to try harder

I know. I know, I know, I know. I've been non-existent. No posts. No love.

Whatever. I think I'm ready to try again. Blog more. But blog less. Long posts (with lots of pictures) take forever to accomplish. With two busy boys, I don't have that time right now.

So, here we go. Blogging Take 2. Take 4. Take 6. Whatever.

One of the things I love about being a mom, is the unashamedly amazing opportunity I get to brainwash my children.

I get to teach them what I deem important and they have NO CLUE that other people might disagree to the importance of said thing.

Exhibit A:
This is Bennett's most requested song right now. No lie. He asks for it no less than 20 times a day. He plays around the house singing, "The Union Fo-eveh. Hurah boys huraaaahhh! Down wif the twaitors, up wif the stahs!"

We've talked about what the song means, how the men are fighting for freedom, how it makes their heart feel when they see the American flag, how it makes their heart feel strong and mighty and full of love. He wants me to point out every American flag we see so he can shout, "The UNION forever!!"

I love it. It makes me smile. I'm raising my kid the way I see fit and I love it. :)
