Easter Day

This year's Easter Day was spent at our house. Mom and Dad had been here for a week or so and left the day before, so it was a mad dash to get our house ready to host the Shipps and our new pastor and his sweet family.

Unfortunately, it meant no cute pictures of the boys in their matching outfits before church. I barely made it as it was. Many thanks to my amazing friend for sticking with me and helping me pull it off. Sarah, once again, I owe you. :)

Bennett, attempting "charming". Or he's picking up the southern women's way of taking pictures - left hand is always on the hip!

My sweet family. Seriously. The boys looked precious.

We love these people.

Grant was quite excited with all the egg hunts. He totally got it!

Big brother TOTALLY got it. I had one egg a piece with the kids names on it. They could turn it in for a cool prize - namely cool flashlights for the boys. :)

I LOVE how close these 2 are sitting. The day before (on the way to the church party) B kept asking, "When do I see Isaiah??? I WANT to see Isaiah. He's my BEST friend!"

Kc entertained the kids forever by playing Go Fish with them. It was hysterical.

Grant was so over Easter by now.

So was Bennett. So was Mommy.
Sarah and I pulled off an amazing meal, if I do say so myself. When we spend a holiday together, we know how to make food. Everyone was stuffed - great leftovers - good time by all. And I don't think we scared our new pastor off, which is a good thing as well. :)
