Grant is:
WALKING!!!!!! He'd been cruising for a while but still preferred his gimpy crawl to stepping out on his own. Until the week my folks were here. And like his brother before him, he just decided one day that walking was best and crawling was for babies. And so he started walking. I'd forgotten how precious the "pit pat" sound of newly walking babies could be. Love it. Love him.
Grant says about 20 words:
Ball, Bus, Dog, Bath, Mama, Dada, Beben (Bennett), Papa (Grandpa K), Mawma (Grandma K), Uh oh, Hi, Buhbye, Paci, All done, No no, Yes, Please, Thank you, Ahsigh (outside), Caker (cracker), Yeah!!
Grant makes these sounds:
Dog, cow, cat, lion, snake, owl, monkey, elephant, duck, rooster, sheep, donkey, choo choo (train), vroom (car)
Grant loves to do these signs:
milk, diaper, more, all done, hi, bye bye, please, Touchdown (TA-dan!!), opens arms wide with "how big is Grant???"
Grant can fold his hands while we pray.
Grant still is a hefty fellow. He's one solid dude.
Grant is not afraid of climbing. Or going down the slide. Or swinging. Or throwing a ball.
Grant think he loves technology. He recently killed my phone but letting it take a swim in our toilet while I was in the other room with his big brother. He freaks out if he sees an iDevice and can't have it.
Grant still gives open mouth kisses. A lot. But only to mama.
Grant likes to think that he can jump. He also thinks he likes Bennett, who is still a bit rough with him.
Grant cries when Daddy leaves for work. He also cries when he comes in from the outside.
Grant loves books. Loves them. Often times, he'll be sitting in his room, alone, just turning page after page of the books in his basket.
Grant takes great naps. Usually. He loves bath time as well.
Grant is our snuggly, precious little baby and we are so glad he's ours!!!
