So. It's safe to say. I've been knocking on wood for the past week, waiting for the evil, wicked Sleep Witch to come and mess Grant back up again.
But, we are on Day 7 of him sleeping from 11-7.
[sigh]
I know that there are several friends of mine who've recently had babies and their little ones aren't sleeping yet, but oh man oh man oh man, am I ever grateful that my little one has broken that sleep barrier.
Seriously. I thought I'd never sleep again. In these 16 weeks of Grant's life, the times that he and Bennett have both taken naps at the same time have been far and few between. This little guy was waking in the middle of the night at all random hours. Before Bennett started sleeping through the night (at 11 weeks), he was at least consistent in the wee hour in which he woke to eat. Not Grant. You never knew what time it would be and it was killing me.
But, a week ago, I finally made the decision to move him into the guest room instead of sleeping in our room. He's still in our pack 'n play as Bennett is still sleeping in the crib. Poor 2nd born. Anyway, we moved him and 2 nights later, he slept from 11-7. I don't know if that had something to do with it, but I'll take it for sure.
Now I just need to get him on a regular nap schedule (and going to bed without being bounced to sleep!) and life just might start taking a turn for the better. At any rate, at 15'ish weeks, Grant is sleeping through the night.
