Word to the wise

Don't watch "The Notebook" if A) You are single, B) You are a true, sappy romantic at heart, C) You have recently experienced a heart wrenching break-up, and D) You are eating chips and salsa from Don Pablos.

I think that basically sums up my night last night. Why the chips and salsa reason, you might ask? Do you know how incredibly un-romantic the sound of crunching on chips and the smell of salsa can be during a 5 kleenex movie? Oh my word. Not a good combination. :)

I watched this movie this summer at the theatre with Mom, Dad, and Shannon. I remembered loving it before and still love it -- it just kinda hurt this time rather than produce feelings of great love and gushiness. Maybe someday. [sigh] And maybe someday I'll find someone that would love me enough to stick by me, even if I didn't remember him at all. Such a beautiful example of what a true, loving relationship could look like. And then maybe someday I'll be as an incredible performer as James Garner is in this movie. He does a phenomenal job. Three words for him: A-Ma-Zing.

So, tonight -- no sappiness but just true girl power with Alias. Gotta love that show!!! And also having a "shady RA" reunion with my favorite RD of all time and my 2 favorite former RA's. Great times at Young's Dairy Farm. Next reunion is going to take us to our childhood days -- we are planning at outing at Chucky Cheese's. I really can't wait. Gonna play skeeball!! And win prizes. Lots of them. :)

Can't wait to see the post on Chuck E. Cheese's! Last time I went was probably five years ago with my little bro and sis. I had a blast getting in the "balls" and playing around with them until suddenly I realized how many kids had probably sweated and snotted all over the place! But it was still fun - even if gross to think about!
