Crazy. Good, but hard all at the same time.
Hannah (and the other Kipp women) arrived Friday about 3:30pm. Watched the end of the All Choral Concert. Had feelings of great relief that I'm no longer in Chorale. And everyone looked so young.
Sat in Beth Porter's office while she counseled Hannah -- I agreed with everything she said.
Ate at Colonial's in the most random booth ever -- it was pushed all the way up against a wall -- couldn't even get my legs crossed and Hannah and I sat next to each other. Weird.
Attended a superb STP (had moments of sheer panic when I realized mine is only 3.5 months away!!!).
Got pulled over by our wanna-be police officers on campus for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign that's on the backside of campus where NO ONE was. For crying out loud. It was Friday night at 9:00pm on Parent's Weekend. They really do need to get a new life.
Saw "The Incredibles" -- a must see. I laughed. Hard. And often. It had been a long time ....
Ran 2.5 miles on Sat morning to release frustration -- Dr. R was right -- it does help :)
Studied and slept all day. Kinda.
Had a fabulous dinner at the Baker's -- I love that woman ....
Ushered at a boring concert, sponsored by our very own Campus Activities Office ...
Stayed up with Kipp until 4am talking ... nothing got solved but yet, we still talked.
Overslept and missed church. So we ate lunch at Bob Evans instead, like good Cedarville students (or alum, depending on who you are talking to)
Studied more (only this time with my precious Katie Hekel)
Got re-routed on my way to the mall for our Holiday meeting and was late -- way to go, new KeyHolder Megan! But hey - when the police close off a road because of an accident -- I didn't know how else to get to the mall. I should be a blonde ...
Tried studying for an exam but didn't happen. Took Hannah back to the hotel at 2am and said goodbye until February. Fell asleep for 4 hours and then got up to finish studying.
And that was my weekend. :)
