9 months

Sweet G - You've officially reached that time when you've been out of the womb longer than you were in. I can't believe it. Where in the world has the time gone??? People told me that my subsequent children would literally grow before my eyes and it's so true. All of a sudden, you aren't looking like a little baby anymore. You are still a baby, as your daddy likes to remind us all, simply because you still are chubby and have inverted knuckles on your hands, but gosh, are you growing up fast.

It's been a crazy few months at our house. This week we've had the stomach flu. Thankfully, you've missed it (at least at this moment) and I hope it stays that way. So, I'm going to shortchange you this post - I'm tired and know that morning will come all too soon. Here's your abbreviated 9 month blog post:

- 21.5 lbs, 28 1/2", which puts you still in the 85th percentile. You are solid, dude.
- Not really crawling yet. Starting to push yourself around in a circle by wiggling your foot and using your hand. You just don't seem that motivated to move.
- Saying "MaMa", "Dada", and as of tonight, "Uh-oh". But you babble like crazy and are so LOUD.
- Nursing 4x a day, sleeping about 11-12 hours a night, waking up whenever Bennett decides to go yelling down the hall, "I'm all DONE sleeping!!!". Taking 2 naps a day and sometimes a early evening nap.
- Finally sleeping in your own crib, in your own room. Yeah for you!
- Cut your first 2 teeth about 2 weeks ago
- Loves Cheerios and puffs. Hates bananas and avacado. Loves sweet potato, carrots, and peas.
- Still dealing with some major constipation issues. My poor, sweet boy!
- Wearing 12 month clothes. Sheesh.
- LOVES the exersaucer!! And jumping on laps. You jump, jump, jump.
- Loves Bennett. Loves Daddy. Loves Mommy.
- Plays with any toy that your big brother will give you. You are such a second-born.
- Is a passionate baby -- you let us know when you aren't happy about a situation, usually that you aren't being fed fast enough. :)
- Went to your first "real" nursery setting this month. You only cried for the last 20 minutes at BSF, but at MOPS, I had to come get you because you missed me so much.
- Gives kisses. Lots of them. Especially to your sweet mother. You'll even grab my face, turn it towards you, and plant a slobbery, wet kiss on my cheeks.
- A huge snuggler. Especially when going to sleep. Your soft, ginger hair nestled against my chin is my favorite. Ever.
 - Started taking a nightly bath with your brother and you absolutely love the water. Love it. Not sure how you feel about bathing with your bro though ...

Daddy comes home
Bennett wants to feed Grant I sure do love you, sweet baby
