It really works, my friend. It really does.
I was sitting here at my desk, desperately wanting a mid-morning snack ... But kept repeatedly telling myself that I shouldn't reach down into my drawer and pull out those glorious red 'n pink M&M's I bought on sale at CVS this week. No, I shouldn't at all. Don't do it, hand. Stay strong. Nope. Don't even look down AT the drawer.
[sigh] What to do??
So, instead, I got my fat derriere off my chair and headed into the kitchen and grabbed a cold bottle of water.
Bob and Jillian say that drinking water helps curb wanton snacking urges ... and they are so right!
Victory! I think I can stave off those urges for another hour and a half until lunch-time.
I knew that there were good things to be had by watching my favoriteist (yes, I made up that word, thankyouverymuch) tv show. I learn so much from Bob and Jillian. Only 8 more hours until showtime! Woo hoo!
Now, excuse me as I run to the ladies room ... curses on cold water.

Well done, you! I, however, was not so strong and had McDonalds french fries for lunch. A large one.
Good to know! I could have used this tip this afternoon when I caved and got a Twix from the vending machine.
