It a span of 2 days, we'll be flipping apartments. Yes, you heard right. We'll be marching out our current apartment, arms loaded with our stuff, walking across two parking lots, and into our new apartment.
Why, you ask. Well, let me tell you why.
It's because we can get a bigger apartment (100 square feet more). A better location (on the 1st floor instead of our current 2nd floor and facing North/South rather than East/West). And pay $1 more than we are currently paying each month.
Seriously. Our rent increased 12% for this coming year and the price was pretty much non-negotiable. But, we could do all this crazy stuff and pay just a $1 more and get this better apartment.
So, we are doing it. On Saturday/Sunday. Yes. Like tomorrow. If you are in the area and want to help .... we wouldn't turn you away! :) And, our address will stay the same except for the apartment number and that will be #805.
I told you. We are crazy.

Wish we could help! Your parents were telling me -- this is CRAZY -- but definately the craziness of the apt people!!! At least you're getting a bigger/better apt. Hope it goes well!
Yeah, I'd say that qualifies as crazy. Good luck with the move!
