Memorial Day

Last night, as we were headed to Sonic for our final Memorial Day fun, I saw a car in the parking lot of the adjacent apartment complex, with a license plate from Hawaii.

Seriously.

I remarked about it to Kc and he, wanting to see it for himself, turned around to drive by it. And then, parked two cars down, were 2 cars from Alaska.

I'm not joking. They were plates from Hawaii and Alaska.

Who woulda thunked?

I think that was the highlight of our Memorial Day.

Actually, we had a great day together. We slept in (which was great) and then decided to hit up the outlets to see if there were any great sales going on. We found a couple things each at the Gap and Banana Republic outlets. I was excited about new clothes! Our swimming pool was saturated with little ones so upon returning home, we finished up watching Lost, Season 3. We ate a great dinner of brisket (my first time making it!), mashed potatoes and veggies. We swam. And then we topped off the day with fruit smoothies from Sonic and seeing those license plates. Crazy!

What a lovely day! it must be something about your family -- Kevin and Amy were thinking of hitting the outlets too. :)

How random about the license plates. Sounds like a fun day!

So, those license plates...that's weird. What outlets did ya go to?
