Crickets

What is with crickets in this area?!?!? Seriously. It's a little out of control. They are everywhere. Not just in our apartment but in Starbucks too. [notice the cricket in the following picture. Gross]

But, there are crickets all over the place. I felt so incredibly brave yesterday. I killed 2 of them in our apartment. 2. They were jumping and hopping and trying to be as menacing as possible and yet I overcame them. The bug man came and sprayed yesterday too and I haven't seen any yet today. Fingers are crossed.

On the obsession with crickets, they are ugly little creatures. And yet when I walked into the 3rd grade teacher's lounge yesterday, they had in their sweet, cutesey entrance, a bronzed cricket.

Now, that's taking it too far. Way too far.
