So Long, Farewell

Well World, this is the part in the play where I make my grand exit off stage. Think of it as Dolly Levi exiting the Harmonia Gardens singing not "Hello, Dolly" but rather the simple words of "So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersen, Goodbye".

I leave for China in the morning and won't be continuing this blog until I return in July of next year.

So with that, I gracefully take my leave. I will miss connecting with you all via this means, but know that I'll be coming back to it, just as soon as I'm done doing all that God has planned for me over there.

And do it I will. I'm gonna show myself, once again, what a Steel Magnolia looks like and how she acts.

"It struck me as amusing. Men are supposed to be made of steel or something. But I couldn't leave. I stayed there ..."

I'm apprehensive about the future but know that God wouldn't take me somewhere unless He had a reason and a plan -- something that was bigger than I could possibly imagine. I believe that, with all that is in me.

So, farewell my little world as I know it. The word "world" is gonna mean a whole lot more to me when I return. It's going to seem bigger and smaller, all at the same time.

Au revoir. Until we meet again ...

This is a long shot. I did a search online for a friend from Cedarville Univ. (Matt Soules) whom I have lost contact with. The search brought up a blog message of yours from 2004 where you mentioned SSC's visit to the chapel and Matt Soules, among other things. By any chance are you still in touch with him?
I know that you won't get this message until July, but please if you ave any contact information for him, please forward it to me (or if you are uncomformatable with that please contact me and maybe you could forward something to him for me.
Sincerely,

Eric S.
