Introducing Bennett Christian

We are pleased to announce the birth of our first-born son! Bennett Christian was born on Thursday, March 11 at 2:08 pm. Bennett weighed in at 7lbs, 11 oz and 20.5" long. He has a head FULL of dark hair and has already captured our hearts. His daddy is completely smitten with him and his mommy has fallen in love with her little man.

Bennett comes from the Latin word benedictus, meaning "blessed" or like the word we commonly use is benediction - a blessing given. We truly feel that God has blessed us with our little blessing. And our prayer and desire for him is that he will be a blessing - both in our lives and in the lives of those that he'll come in contact with for the rest of his life.

Christian is Kc's middle name and I wanted the baby to have his daddy's middle name because I want my little guy to grow up to be like the man that I fell in love with. We also pray that Bennett will come to know our Lord and believe in what He has done for him.

We are so excited for our little blessing to actually be on the outside and can't wait to see what God does in him and through him (as well as how Bennett will teach us more about our Lord).
