Missing

I have no idea what triggered it, but today is one of those days that I miss China so much, it almost hurts. An ache that takes over my entire body ... especially my heart.

(these are the only pics I have at work, but at least they help to remember)

Hiking on the Great Wall

Tiananmen Square with the boys

Jiang Zhihui and Fu Xiaowen -- precious friends

Once-in-a-lifetime trip to SE Asia

Me and Jess at some wonderful Foreign Experts concert :)

My 2nd RenDa team -- Lisa, Janna, Andy, Mike, Nate, Ethan and Sarah

Colin comes to visit and we hit up Xi'an and the Terra Cotta warriors

My RenDa team -- Mike, Lisa, Diane, Andy, Ethan, Jess -- how I love them

Packages from home that contain Girl Scout Cookies :)

Me and my man at the Temple of Heaven

The Dam Trip with great friends!

Visiting Inner Mongolia and jumping in our cool "dunes boots"

Making Christmas Cookies with English majors -- such precious girls!

I totally understand, Megan. Actually, I feel like that _most_ days. Lu Ye, team meetings, office hours, ...

Loved seeing all the pictures. I guess that is one of the problems of having bits of your heart in other places. But, better to have the memories and deal with the missing, than not to have them at all.

So true, Heather. I whole-heartedly agree with you. It is better to have loved than not loved at all.
