Parental Visit #2

Kc's parents were able to come stay with us for a while last week. It was wonderful having them here and showing them around our little world in north Dallas. It was a time of sightseeing as well as a time of relaxing. We saw a few things that we hadn't seen yet since moving down here, specifically driving over to Ft. Worth to see the Stockyards. Quite interesting to say the least. While we over there, we decided to get all dressed up for an old-time photo session. Unfortunately we don't have a scanner to post that picture but let me tell you ... it's hysterical. :)

It's so great to have family around. I desperately miss having people who know us well and where we don't have to explain ourselves over and over again. Moving to a new city
(and still not settling in a church home!) is hard. So, the times that we are able to spend with family is priceless. And that's why I'm glad Kc's folks were able to come see us.

Going downtown for the day

Visiting Dealey Plaza and actually going up in the 6th floor museum

Waiting for the afternoon cattle drive through the Stockyards

Here they come!!

Fun fun! Yes, and I totally understand what you mean.

I actually have not been to the
6th floor museum yet and have been to Ft. Worth a few times but not since I have actually moved here. :)

Looking forward to lunch tomorrow and catching up!
