Amazing Grace

Do you ever stop and just sit back in amazement at the grace of God? Are you ever completely floored at how incredibly undeserving we are of this gift that He's given us? I know I feel this -- not all the time, but there are those special occasions when I really feel and know of His grace. It's so humbling to me to be a recipient of this grace. I screw up more times than I could possibly number, yet God continues to use His Holy Spirit to prick my conscience and also to use individuals in my life to draw me back to Himself.

Tonight was one of those nights. I had an amazing telephone conversation with a special friend and was humbly reminded of God's grace in my life. It was a precious time.

I'm so grateful for friendships that are centered around my Heavenly Father and can be used to draw us closer to Him, even when we are so undeserving. I'm also so incredibly thankful for His grace, that still (even in at this late hour of the night) doesn't cease to amaze me ....
